The Latest from AstroCamp

This afternoon, the Kadima students learned about Microgravity and the effects of water on gravity.  They experienced gravity, or lack of it, in the immersion pool, while building. They also took a cosmic landing class.  Please be sure to enjoy all the pictures below.

Astrocamp is a Blast!

We have heard great things about AstroCamp! Yesterday afternoon, students engaged in Physics based lessons and learned about trajectory and motion. Their lessons included learning about Newton's laws.  This was followed by a rocket launching session - students made their own rockets utilizing 2 liter soda bottles.  Students also enjoyed an evening hike. This morning, students enjoyed their camp style breakfast and then began their lessons.  AstroCamp faculty began lessons in electromagnetic energy and learned about how static energy works.
